Turtle trot 2015 list

Ok, so going through all my stitchy stuff I found that I actually have 12 WIP/UFOS. How cool is that! I figured it would've been A LOT more!
I'm still only going to pick out 10 for the turtle trot.
Here they are in no particular order:

Mirabila Red

Mirabilia Winter Queen conversion

Rocky Point

Wedding Dress (I think that's what it's called, I bought it off Etsy). She became a UFO because I ran out of thread and by the time I went to buy more, I forgot what color I used. So I first have to figure out the color before I finish the last little bit lol

A View from the Window.  This turned into a UFO because I screwed up somewhere on the flowers. Rather than try and find it, I lost my patience and moved on.

Butterfly Girl. She became a UFO because I used to wrong color in her hair and instead of frogging it I moved on to something else. I was getting tired of all the grays anyway.

Dockside Quilts

A Whole Lotta Latte. My eyes couldn't take the black aida.  I had to stop for a bit, then I just forgot about it lol.

A picture of my cat I converted online

Take Time

Wish me luck!
Im looking forward to watch everyone's progress, see you on the tenth!

Happy stitching!

  1. You have some gorgeous pieces there for your Turtle Trot. I especially like Latte. I hope you are able to pick up the ones with mistakes. It sounds as if it might be a challenge for you to do so but with the blogging community behind you I hope you'll feel spurred on. :)

  2. Gorgeous projects! You do like I do and leave unpicking. I have 4 projects I need to 'reverse stitch' and am planning on having a night or two where I just go through them and get it done! Once it's done, I suspect I will be more than happy to continue working on them. xx

    1. Thanks! I managed to get one done. I'm hoping to have a finish for the turtle trot. That would give me lots of inspiration to get the rest done!

  3. You seem to prefer the big pieces to smaller ones. I can perfectly understand you because I am the same. You have some very lovely WIPs on the go and I wish you luck with the Turtle Trot Challenge.
