I felt the same way, Angela. I think I was afraid of the work Blackwork....but as far as I'm concerned...it's only backstitching. Give it a try!

Great start! Have you seen the new freebie blackwork SAL from Elizabeth Almond? I'm quite tempted by that one, lots of opportunity to use hand dyed threads :).
