Some guilt and a give away!

I can't believe it's been a few months since I posted.  Name and shame me!  But, in having said that....I have been very busy stitching!  I have a few finishes to post, but I am at work  unable to get to my photos right now.  I will post the pics later.

So anyway, I just joined a SAL by Joan Elliott. All of her patterns are just amazing!!  You should check our her Facebook page for more info.  I am super excited for many reasons:

1) it's my first time ever stitching something of Joan's.  Although I have looked at her patterns for such a long time.  I never thought I would have enough talent to do one of her pieces.
2) it's my first time taking part in a SAL (stitch-a-long) for those of you who are new to the world of cross stitching.
3) I will be doing this piece on evenweave. I've never worked on evenweave before.  I'm an aida girl and have always been afraid to try anything different.  Wish me luck!

So currently, besides the SAL, I am working on a welcome sign designed by Diane Arthurs.  I bought it at 123stitch.com and if you click THIS LINK it will bring you straight to it.  It's a gift for someone. I haven't decided yet if it will be for Christmas or not.
